Practice Mode is Live — Train Without the Pressure

Not every match needs to count. Practice Mode turns the old “Offline” button into a real training space — somewhere to learn a hero’s kit, get a feel for a weapon, or just warm up before queuing into a real match.

What’s different

• Bots you can trust are bots. Every practice opponent wears a visible BOT nameplate — no guessing who’s real.
• Difficulty follows you, not the other way around. You don’t pick a difficulty. Practice Mode quietly tunes bot strength around your recent performance, aiming to keep matches winnable without being trivial.
• No grinding. Practice matches award no coins, no gems, and only a small daily-capped trickle of XP. It’s here to make you better, not to farm — your competitive stats, leaderboard position, and match history are all untouched.

Why we built it

Battle royale has a steep first-match problem: you’re learning the map, the loot, your hero’s ability, and the enemy all at once. Practice Mode strips away the “someone else is watching” pressure so that learning curve doesn’t cost you a real match.

What’s next

We’re watching win-rate data from early Practice sessions to keep the bot difficulty curve honest — the goal is roughly four wins out of five once you know what you’re doing. If it’s not landing right, expect a tuning pass before Open Beta.
